Aeromexico Baggage Policy

Aeromexico allows two types of baggage including carry-on baggage and checked baggage. Carry-on baggage are the bags or personal items you may bring with you in the cabin. However, it is necessary to ensure the required size and quantity of the baggage depending on your trip and fare. The size of the carry-on baggage must not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 25 cm. (21.5 x 15.7 x 10 inches) and weight should not exceed 10 kg (22 lb.) for Basic Fare and 15 kg (33 lb.) for Classic, AM Plus, and Premier Class fares. The personal items include briefcases, purses, computers, umbrellas, and fanny packs. These must fit under the cabin seats. In checked baggage allowance, you can carry one piece of luggage up to 25 kg per passenger depending on fare, domestic flights, and international flights. The size of each piece must not surpass 158 cm/62 inches.

Aeromexico baggage policy also varies by destination and cabin class. Within Mexico, Basic Fare includes no bags, while the Main Cabin offers one bag (55 pounds / 25 kg) and Clase Premier allows two bags (70 pounds / 32 kg). For flights between Mexico, the US, and Canada, the Main Cabin has no included bags, but Clase Premier allows two bags. On routes to Central and South America, the Main Cabin includes one bag, while Clase Premier provides two. For Europe, the Basic Fare offers no bags, Main Cabin includes one, and Clase Premier has two. For Asia, the Main Cabin allows two bags and Clase Premier allows three.
