Emirates Baggage Policy

Emirates provides a flexible baggage policy to its passengers. The airline’s baggage policy runs by weight concept which includes free baggage allowance according to the total amount of weight of your baggage or how many pieces o bag you carry. Emirates allows carry-on and checked baggage facilities to its passengers. There might be different sizes, weights, and amounts of allowances for carry-on baggage for different classes of travel. However, the number of checked baggage allowance may depend on different classes of travel, and every bag must come under the size of 300cm or 118 inches. Bags that exceed the limit will not be accepted as checked baggage. In addition, if you are checking in from Dammam International Airport, each bag must not exceed  215 cm or 84.64 inches.

For flights to most destinations, Economy Class travelers with a ‘Special’ ticket can check 20kg of luggage. Those holding a ‘Saver’ or ‘Flex’ ticket are allowed 30kg, while ‘Flex Plus’ ticket holders can bring 35kg. Business Class passengers have a 40kg allowance, and First Class travelers can check up to 50kg.

You can bring as many bags as you like, but each piece must weigh no more than 32kg and total dimensions should not exceed 118 inches. For flights to/from Canada, North America, South America, and Africa, Economy passengers may check two 23kg bags, while Business and First Class passengers can bring two 32kg bags.
